The service

laystar is a project and task management tool with a web app and a macOS app. It is in public beta: Personal is free and features may change.

Your account

An account is a username and a password; no email or phone is required. There is no password recovery yet, so keep your password safe. Actions taken with your account are treated as yours.

Your content

What you put into laystar is yours. We store and process it only to provide the service. Don't upload content you have no right to use, or content that breaks the law.

Model providers

Suggestions, transcription and the command palette use the model provider and API key you configure. You settle costs with that provider directly, under its terms.

Availability

We aim for a stable service, but there is no uptime guarantee during beta. Keep your own copies of anything critical.

Termination

You can delete your account at any time. Accounts used to abuse the service or for unlawful purposes may be suspended or closed.

Changes

If these terms change, this page and its effective date change with it. Continuing to use laystar means you accept the updated terms.
